Project Description:
Our client holds the crucial responsibility of safeguarding public health by ensuring the safety, effectiveness, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, the national food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation. Additionally, our client supports public health advancement by fostering innovation that makes medicines and foods safer, more effective, and more affordable. The agency also provides the public with reliable, science-based information to help individuals use medicines and foods to improve their health.
Our client serves as the primary resource for the agency’s personnel to obtain current information, guidance, policies, and procedures related to financial management, budget, acquisitions, and contracts. Our resources will deliver comprehensive requirements-to-award support for Program driven acquisitions, including strengthening both budget formulation and execution functions.
Job Summary:
Within the project, there are three different workstreams to support:
- Budget Oversight Support
- Centers, Offices and Programs (COPs) Budget Support
- Acquisition Liaison Support
Responsibilities:
Budget Oversight Support
- Provide budget oversight support of our clients Center, Offices and Programs which involves monitoring, analyzing, and ensuring compliance with allocated financial resources to maintain fiscal accountability and operational efficiency within the clients’ programs and initiatives.
- Provide end-to-end requirements-to-award support for COP-driven budget execution and formulation activities within our clients Shared Services model. This includes financial management assistance for our client’s center-level operations, ensuring effective allocation and monitoring of resources across various programs, divisions, and operational activities within specific client centers.
- Work closely with the client to support its development of its acquisition strategies and contract requirements development for a broad portfolio of initiatives as well as provide general administrative support. This task will include providing technical analysis and support the client in the development of acquisition packages and general administrative support, Grant/IAA support as directed by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or COPs.
- Minimum Will vary with each task.
- Experience working with the federal government. Specifically, agencies within HHS.
- Bachelor’s degree Required for all roles.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
